In addition to the statewide races, there are also a number of positions being filled in this year’s election that directly affect all or portions of Cherokee County, including four of the seven seats on the Board of Education.  Where you see the position shown in bold and “**” at the end of the listing, it means that the individual who is elected to this position directly represents some or all of our Avery families:
