MEMBERS MATTER!  AVERY MATTERS! We are launching an exciting new PTA Membership Campaign for the 2010-2011 Avery ES school year!  When you become a member of PTA you share the vision of making every child’s potential a reality.  Your membership in Avery PTA not only includes your membership into the Georgia and National PTA but also provides you many benefits and discounts.  Our Neighborhood Partners offer discounts to card holding members and you have free entry to Avery Movie Night and the Sock Hop.

The second part of our Remember to Member campaign is Minute to Submit It… One Minute, Avery Wins It! based on the wildly popular TV show, Minute to Win It.  Can you imagine watching Avery administrators, teachers, staff, students and even parents participating in challenges like Bobble Head, Egg Roll or Extreme Hanky Panky?  To learn more about the show, go to http://www.nbc.com/minute-to-win-it/. We are going to have challenges throughout the year at events, pep rallies and even PTA meetings for awesome prizes.

Our Remember to Member campaign is going to be lots of fun this year. We have exciting contests for joining the PTA early, a Best Time to Fill Out the Membership Form drawing* and many more surprises in the works.

The first Super Drawing is at Meet and Greet!  Print your Membership form here, have everything ready to join and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win one of two $50 gift certificates to your favorite store or restaurant!  We’ll have a drawing for the AM session and for the PM session to increase your chances to win!  Get your form filled out, have your child time you as you do it* and then join next Thursday when you come to meet your new teacher(s).

* On the Membership form, there is a space to put how fast you are able to fill out the Membership form.  Get your child involved, let them time you then put your best time on the form.  Everyone who does will be entered in a 3^rd drawing for a $25 gift certificate of your choice.  Deadline for this drawing is 08/13/2010.  Joining PTA at Meet and Greet and submitting your time on the form increases your chances at winning!!
